The Bible

The bible is a place that we turn to first when we want to learn more about the Christian faith and to draw closer to God. The leading reformer of the Protestant Reformation, Martin Luther, the namesake of our tradition, was a biblical scholar. As a result, the bible has an important place in our faith and life. The resources on this page, and the links provided can assist you in your faith journey.

from the ELCA’s website - ‘Lutherans believe that people meet God in Scripture, where God’s heart, mind, relationship to -- and intention for -- humankind are revealed. Through an ongoing dialogue with the God revealed in the Bible, people in every age are called to a living faith.’

Bible Study

At Grace, we often have opportunities for studying the bible. No experience is ever necessary, and we have bibles here for your use if you do not have one. Our studies can be found on the church calendar. Our most regular study meets on Thursday mornings at 10:30am for one hour in our library on campus. This study meets on Thursdays between Labor Day and Memorial Day. Often there are other studies held on Wednesday evenings, Sunday mornings between services and other times. Please contact with any questions you might have. Visitors are always welcome to any bible study.

Worship

As Christians, our faith journey is a journey that is experienced in community. This is most profoundly experienced in our weekly worship. A regular part of our spiritual life, worship, not unlike physical exercise or the eating of meals, enriches and nourishes our whole person for living this life.

Library

We are very proud of our library at Grace. It is located immediately off of the parking lot and facing the sanctuary. It is continually updated with an impressively diverse set of resources including DVD’s and many current books and periodicals. There is a great variety of resources for children as well. The library is open on Sunday and Wednesday mornings and at other times during regular office hours by stopping by the church office.
