Ryan Riddle
A riddle is a mystery that provides clues, causes one to refocus, and encourages exploring different paths in order to find the solution. Ryan Riddle, the Programing Assistant at Grace, is no exception to the rules of riddles. He has provided these clues:
- Computers and technology were always just "there" while growing up, a normal part of life that grew into a way to support himself as a student. At Grace, part of his job is to support the everyday uses of technology.
- Religion was always a part of his life, too, as he attended church regularly with his family, then chose to attendCalifornia Lutheran University in order to major in religion, where he eventually became the departmental assistant for the religion department. At Grace, part of his job is to assist with various programs, as needed.
- Helping others was a natural outgrowth of his interests--he tutored foster children and worked two summers as a counselor at a church camp in Southern California. At Grace, part of his job is to help other people do what needs to be done.
Ryan is looking forward to exploring more aspects of his personal riddle, developing more skills related to art, design, and administration while perhaps shifting toward the arts and ministry. Although he may not completely solve his mystery at Grace, Ryan can explore a new focus and a new path toward that solution.
