Well, we made it just fine to New Orleans! We’re hoping for a good night’s sleep and then a good first day walking around the French Quarter. Things start in earnest tomorrow evening with the first big opening session in the Superdome (40,000 people!?). Our flight from Phoenix to New Orleans was full of youth groups from Southern California as well as us. Every other group we met this evening as well as the airport was full of ELCA youth. It was awesome. More tomorrow!
