Christian Music Theater at Grace Lutheran Church

CMT is a spirit-led camp for children of all faiths that uses the performing arts to cultivate respect for ourselves and others, to communicate human values, to increase concern for our planet, and to grow in relationship with our God.

Children will be involved in set, costume and prop construction, creative dramatics, music, and choreographed movement, all culminating in an original musical drama. This is our 27th year in Palo Alto!  Kären Salveson, our writer and director, has
made CMT successful in churches and schools throughout the United States.

Because of the PAUSD shortened summer, we are offering an exciting variation on our regular CMT programming. There are still 6 sessions to choose from.
Session 1 and 3 feature our regular two-week sessions with a morning and afternoon cast.
Session 2 and 4 will be a unique one-week, all-day sessions with only one cast.
Session 4, only available for children who DO NOT attend Palo Alto Schools, will involve kids up and through 8th grade. In addition to preparing the show, the session will be filled with special classes for older kids in hip-hop, drama, and preparing for auditions with songs and monologues.
